Unlike many advisers or other professionals, I am happy to provide new clients with two to three initial meetings at their home or business premises without obligation. I believe this process should be conducted slowly so that prospective clients can feel entirely comfortable with the advice I can provide and how it will benefit them. I typically follow a five stage process with the first three meetings at no obligation.

One of the biggest barriers to prospective clients taking action with their finances is the expectation they will be overwhelmed by jargon, unrealistic recommendations and high costs. The purpose of my five stage process is to take the time to help clients understand their current situation and future goals so that the benefit of any recommendations is clearly understood before any decision is made or costs incurred.

Being a younger adviser (35) I am in a fortunate position to be able to talk to clients about their long term planning with the expectation I will be able to provide the advice and service throughout their plan. Since joining St. James’s Place all of my new clients have been from introductions from existing, satisfied, clients.
