Frequently Asked Questions

What you need to know.

Do I have to bring referrals?

No. Unlike some networking groups, we have no referral targets or quotas. Referrals happen naturally because members know and trust each other.

What if my industry is already taken?

We only admit one member per service or profession. Check our Members page, if your category is filled, membership isn't currently available, but you're welcome to contact us and we'll let you know if the seat becomes free.

How much does it cost?

Visitors pay £15 per meeting. Membership is £80 per month, which covers room hire, breakfast and the group's running costs — F4B is not-for-profit.

Am I tied into a contract?

No. There are no annual contracts or tie-ins.

What happens at a meeting?

Informal networking with coffee and a bacon roll from 7:15, around the table at 8:00 for sixty-second updates from everyone, then a ten-minute member presentation. We finish at 9:00. See our [Meetings] page for the full picture.

Do I have to give a presentation?

Members take it in turns to give the weekly ten-minute presentation, but it can be on anything: your business, an interest, a quiz, or a problem you'd like the group's ideas on. Applicants also give a short introduction presentation as part of joining.

I'm not a business owner; can I still join?

Yes, if you're responsible for winning clients or contacts for your company, the group can work well for you.

Can I stay after the meeting?

Yes, we have the Boardroom until midday, and members often stay on to work from the club. The bar downstairs serves coffee and soft drinks at a small charge.

Where do you park?

There's free parking at the North Hants Golf Club. The first car park on your right as you enter.

Come and see for yourself

The best way to find out if F4B is for you is to join us for a Thursday morning. Visitors are welcome to attend a few meetings before deciding whether to apply — no obligation, no awkward sales pitch.
